Our Story

Pairo was born to inspire the pursuit of adventure by changing the lens through which you see the world.

We are two best friends that got frustrated over a single issue: expensive sunglasses don’t always have the best quality, and when adventure calls it makes you shiver knowing that you have a high chance of getting your $200 sunglasses wrecked! This ends up leaving you facing the elements on your own while your treasured shades sit unworn in some drawer.

Sunglasses (by principle) are meant to be worn outdoors, exposed to sun, snow, dust, sand… places and situations that make you feel alive. Then why not make the perfect pair of sunglasses for these conditions?

After a little digging, we realized the sunglasses industry had been dominated by giants who drive up pricing and reduce quality in order to feed its army of middle men.

By taking control of the entire manufacturing process, we made it possible to create what we once thought impossible: Top quality, recycled and polarized sunglasses that won’t break the bank.

Sounds too good to be true? We didn’t stop there…

What if we could add a sustainability aspect at the core of our brand? By partnering with Eden Reforestation Projects, we brought tree planting into the mix. If we were going to go green, we weren’t going to half-ass it. If we were going to go green, we are going to make the Hulk look pale.

In comes our tree planting formula! We would plant at least 10 trees for every pair of PAIROs sold! Not only that, but YOU can determine how many trees we plant with your purchase in easy $200 peso increments! Think 10 trees is too little? Add $200 pesos to your purchase and make that 50 TREES! Still meh? Add $200 more and we’ll make that 100 TREES! That’s an amazing deal even without the sunglasses!
